Nature is the heart of Clairityoga. Created from the understanding that through the wisdom of the body, movement can bring us back to ourselves and presence in the moment.

Clair sees yoga, functional movement, Ayurveda, and nature immersions as intimately connected expressions of the same intention: to calm the mind, return to the body, and reconnect with nature to support us in being in rhythm with ourselves and the natural world.

Clair’s facilitation style  is grounded in both tradition and intuition. Her classes draw from Hatha and Ashtanga yoga, alongside dance, and modern strength and mobility practice. Rather than following a fixed formula, she reads the moment and creates each session in real time—resulting in classes that are dynamic, alive, and attuned to what will cultivate the most presence, balance, and vitality.

Over time Clair’s  practice of yoga expanded beyond the physical aspects and into its broader philosophy, and she slowly began integrating Ayurveda. Translated as the “Science of Life,” Ayurveda uses the elements: water, air, fire, earth and spirit to observe and inform. These observations indicate how we can cultivate greater balance.

Ayurveda provides a framework for understanding the qualities that shape our bodies, minds, and habits—and how to work with them to create harmony. Clair shares this ancient science in a way that is accessible, practical, and engaging, using simple language, metaphor, and direct application. Through classes, workshops, and individualized support, she offers guidance on food, meal preparation, herbal support, and sustainable self-care practices. The focus is on meaningful, small, doable shifts that restore balance over time—supporting both clarity and vitality. Even simple additions, like incorporating spices such as turmeric and sumac into daily meals, become powerful tools for everyday nourishment.

Through immersions and retreats held in forests, along creeks, in the mountains, and by the coast, Clair creates spaces where people can step out of routine and into direct relationship with the natural world. These experiences weave together movement, breathwork, meditation, creative expression, plant connection, and rest.

Across all of Clair’s work runs a unifying thread: a return to the rhythms of nature and the elements. Yoga and Ayurveda both arise from this understanding, and when practiced in connection with the living world, they become powerful pathways back to clarity, balance, and joy.
